Tools

The technology used most frequently, and where to get it:

Microsoft R Open (MRO) – https://mran.microsoft.com/open
You’ll need R installed on your device to replicate most of my experiments. I recommend Microsoft R Open, but any distro should work fine.

RStudio Desktop – https://www.rstudio.com/products/rstudio/download/
My favorite IDE for R continues to be RStudio. While others will perform similarly, RStudio is my pick for its extensive feature set. I’ve used others in the past as well, but always come back to RStudio.

Power BI Desktop – https://powerbi.microsoft.com/en-us/desktop/
Power BI is a powerful visualization tool by Microsoft, with dozens of pre-defined connectors for making analysis easy to start, easy to perform, and easy to share.
